Why choose Brookes Westshore

  • Personalized Learning: Being a small school of 300 students, teachers in BW are able to focus time and attention on each student as an individual and working with them in the way that best suits their learning style, aptitudes and passions. Students are empowered to inquire into a wide range of issues and ideas significance – locally, nationally and globally as a creative, critical and reflective thinker.

  • International Recognized IB Curriculum: IB program is a diverse, challenging and globally connected course of study. BW students are encouraged to think across disciplines and subject areas; to try different approaches to learning and to take responsibility for their own educational progress.

  • Global Connections: BW recognizes that learning is best achieved through experiences gained in the real world, and students understand how to apply their learning in different contexts and across different cultures. Each year, a group of BW students will travel to one of the sister schools to experience life in a different country. Students are fully immersed into the daily experiences of their international peers; taking part in classroom activities, extra-curricular programs and clubs, as well as visiting local cultural landmarks. Not only do students make life-long connections, this opportunity is a highlight for students and enhances both their academic and cultural learning
