UK Application Procedures

Aces Education Consultancy provides professional advices and services on overseas study. Our education consultants assist students in all kinds of issues related to overseas study.


Step One: Institutions and Curriculum Selection

Our education consultants provide the following services:

  • Analysis of student’s potential

  • Explanation of the UK education system and different study pathways

  • To suggest the most suitable institution and course for the student

Step Two: Admission Test

  • Take an internationally validated English test - IELTS for UKVI (Academic). Or, sit for the admission test of the UK institution (mainly for school applicants)

  • IELTS for UKVI (Academic) is more suitable for students above 16 years of age or student who plans to apply for tertiary education

Step Three: Application Submission

  • Our education consultant will guide students to fill in the application form

  • Submit attachment to the application, e.g. academic record (school report or public examination result), evidence of student’s English language ability and reference letter (if applicable)

  • Application fee (if applicable)

Step Four: Letter of Offer

  • Education institution will assess the application

  • Student will receive 1) Letter of Offer ( for those who fulfil the admission requirement and there is a place available in school), or 2) Conditional Offer (student must fulfil the indicated entry requirement before the enrolment), or 3) Letter of refusal ( application failure)

Step Five:  Acceptance of Offer Payment

  • Fees, as indicated by education institution, should be paid to confirm the acceptance of offer

Step Six: Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies

  • The school will issue a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) for overseas student after receiving the acceptance payment

  • The CAS is the only evidence document for student visa application

Step Seven: Student Visa Application

  • Apply to non British citizens

  • Apply to overseas students who enrol in a course over 6 months duration

  • Education consultants will guide students to fill in the application form

  • All attached documents such as proof of identity, academic records, evidence of English language ability and financial documentation.

  • Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies

  • Evidence of guardian and British local address (if applicable)

  • Letter of civil service allowances (if applicable)

  • Students will be granted a student visa by the UK Government for Visa and Immigration if they meet the required conditions

Step Eight: Pre-departure Preparation

Our education consultants will provide all necessary information on departure for student:

  • Accommodation arrangement (such as boarding school, host family accommodation, university housing, student boarding house and rental housing, etc.)

  • Airport pickup arrangement

  • Flight tickets booking

  • Arrange guardian for students under 18-year-old

  • Arrange school visit, host family and guardians visit arrangement (if necessary)

  • Pre-departure briefing
