Homestay Suitable for students newly arrive to UK, studying English language course and boarding students during term break Student lives with the local family. 3 meals will be provided during weekdays and 2 to 3 meals will be provided during weekends Student can experience with local cultural and living style, better adaptive of the UK life and to improve English language proficiency Travel between homestay and school is normally required
Boarding / Hall of Residence For students in school and university (1st year undergraduate and postgraduate students) It is available for enrolled students only Single
room or share room is available, according to the schools. However,
bathroom and kitchen are always shared (universities hostels may have
ensuite rooms) It is located near schools and universities, student can make friends from different nationality and to learn to be independent Usually closed during school holidays
Private Rental For studnet above 18 years old and have stayed in the UK for a period of time Independent apartment or townhouse available. It maybe fully furnished. Student can learn to be more independent and responsible Required to pay for the bills of water, electricity, gas, telephone and internet service connection Rental period is normally half year or 1 year tenancy agreement
