Presbyterian Ladies' College, Armidale
 
Established in 1887, PLC Armidale is an independent Christian girls’ day and boarding school. The College campus contains beautiful parkland of 17 hectares and multiple modern buildings. The four boarding houses accommodate 120 boarders, giving individuals plenty of space to study and relax. The College practices small class teaching with teacher:pupil ratio 1:11. Many musicians of PLC Armidale were placed in the top 10% in the state for HSC music. In 2003, 80% of Year 12 students were qualified for university education and 10% for other tertiary education.
