Founded in 2008, Valley International Academy (VIA) is set on a sprawling 200+ acres, in the heart of tech-hub Silicon Valley, California. While neighboring well-known technology companies Google and Tesla, the school campus is located in the picturesque setting of the Californian Saratoga mountains. VIA provides a perfect balance of nature while also less than 10 minutes from urban and suburban areas.

VIA offers American National Curriculum and the Advanced Placement (AP) in Grades 9-12 to both domestic and international students. In addition, VIA provides ESL courses for international students who may need additional academic support. In an extremely low 4:1 student-teacher ratio, VIA teachers are able to create a highly-individualized program tailored to the needs of each student and ensure they can master all academic areas required to thrive in the next stage of their American education. 

Students are supported in a caring environment and given opportunities to learn about themselves and to take action in areas in which they are passionate. VIA students and teachers come from diverse backgrounds and they connect globally with other sister schools in other countries to learn about the world, from the world. Through leadership challenges and opportunities, VIA helps students to discover their passion, develop their character, and understand their connection to others and society.

VIA student dormitory provides students a place to study, relax, and build relationships with students from different countries, backgrounds, and cultures, while learning independence. Live-in full-time chaperones ensure student safety, comfort, and companionship. The dormitory living provides students with both structured study time and leisure time activities. Under the direction of the school chaperones, dormitory students have opportunities for shopping, social activities and field trips on weekends.
