Saint Stanislaus is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in grades 7-12. Since 1854, Saint Stanislaus’ students have thrived academically and spiritually in a college-preparatory atmosphere that fosters structure and accountability.

The school campus of Saint Stanislaus lies adjacent to the warm water of the Gulf of Mexico which is an ideal setting for the school’s signature program, Marine Science. Students in junior and senior years can take this course as part of their science elective. Students are able to participate in a year-long class and while getting hands-on experience through fieldwork. Saint Stanislaus’ coastal location is home to several research programs. Saint Stanislaus’ Marine Science Program participates in studies that benefit larger organizations such as the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the Mississippi Oyster Gardening Program (MSOGP) and Nurdle Patrol. The Marine Science students provide these organizations with water quality data, phytoplankton counts, oyster growth, and marine debris totals. These research opportunities provide students with real experience collecting and submitting data to be used by scientists.

Saint Stanislaus’ curriculum is designed to ensure students are ready academically for a successful college career. The college-preparatory program integrated the ESL Program, Advanced Placement, and honors curriculum with a commitment to faith and community service to help young boys become men of character. Over 96% of Saint Stanislaus’ graduatesprogress to tertiary education in their chosen college or university.
