Northern Academy of the Arts offers a combined academic and enhanced arts education to students in Grades 6-12. It strives to give students the skills, discipline and confidence that they need to be successful in college and in life.

Northern Academy nurtures academic excellence in students. Students receive a rigorous, top-tier education that imbues a philosophy of lifelong learning. The school keeps the student-teacher ratio in classes at an average of 10:1, which means an education that is flexible and responsive.

Besides the normal school curriculum, Northern Academy also puts emphasis on western and eastern classical arts. Modern studies have found that teaching arts in schools can have a profound effect on young minds. Northern Academy offers 2 study tracks for students:

• Academic track students have great internship opportunities where they get real-world experience and job skills. A unique, carefully planned curriculum and small class size that allow them to engage meaningfully with subjects and help them become lifelong learners.

• Arts track (Dance, Music or Fine Art) students receive pre-professional training enables them to pursue a professional arts career as well as building their character through the discipline of artistic training. Arts students also get a strong college preparatory education so they are prepared regardless of what profession they ultimately choose.

Students can select either academic track or arts track that best suits their interest and capability. By taking an approach with multiple tracks, Northern Academy opens up a wide range of avenues for students to reach their fullest potential.
